Sara logic 3.5
i was showing her a picture of temples and telling what temple they were. When I showed her the Salt Lake temple she said,"is the lake right behind it?" Mike nearly choked, he was laughing so hard.
Sara can tell you which Santa is real. He happens to be the Santa in a cell phone commercial that is having to cut corners to pay his bill.
When Sara asked me why some balloons were tide to something, I told her that they were to draw her attention. Her reply was,"Ballons can't color, only people color." Draw=color in this thought

2009 HAS BEEN INTERESTING!!! We celebrated having Sara be three and Ashley turning one. Found out that I was pregnant just to find out that nature has hick-ups and forgot to make a baby. Went on vacation and had our stroller stolen but Grandma Smith brought us our umbrella one when she came for the big family reunion and we rented one so both girls could ride in style around Disneyland during the reunion. Those that stole the stroller have since been caught and the legal system has done there job. We are hoping this next year brings another child to our family. If three year old still see through the vale then we should be hoping for our one an only boy. Till then we can only laugh at what our two girls do and take what god and life gives us to help us hopefully grow into better people.

Me and the girls went out n the lake in october. It was the first time in over two years because of pregnancy and timing. Sara enjoyed the beach and tubing but waterskiing was scary. Ashley was happiest when the boat was moving and she had mommy. She did do well on the tube even when cousin summer was directing the boat to send usflying over the wake. I got to go wake boarding and tried to master going from one side to the other thru the wake but only made it half way.

Day two of our vacation we went to the beach and the airplane and space museum. Day three we went back to sea world. Our camera and other things were taken so we are missing any pictures taken for these days. Day four we went to the science museum where the girls had fun playing before we met up with the rest of the smiths. Day five we all went to Disneyland for the carpenter reunion. Sara met fairies and micky mouse. Ashley and Sara had a blast on the carosel,tea cups,dumbo, and even on pirates of the carabien. How ever they both were asleep before the fireworks. Day six we went to another beach. We made a sand pool for the girls wet sand from high tide. the girls also had fun in the wave,eash in there own way. Day seven we went to church then to a park to have lunch with all the family from the reunion before we all went our seperate ways.

Our first full day in california,we went to Sea World. I just don't have access to mike's phone or the camera right now and they have all those pictures. the girls had lots of fun. Sara made sure to wait for mom or dad to hold her hand when we went to shows. Afterwards we got on a different freeway accidentaly,but still one that google suggested to get us back to where we are staying, and found the San Diago temple. Ashley then found the food storage cheese to play with to keep herself awake.

Half the fun is getting there. Ashley was out 10 min. into the drive. Sara was having fun drinking her juice. Sara loved the wind mills.

Sara had her first day at preschool today. she was very happy to go even though she didn't get to ride a bus and she didn't get to go to a school. last night we went to meet the teacher and when we got there she said, I can't see the school with all these peoples houses in the way. she was more excited to get home and put her bathing suit on. Ashley just enjoyed a nap and mommy loved getting her dishes,and floors clean, and laundry folded.

Sara's lesson on the holy ghost
The holy ghost talks quietly.
He is white.
He talks to his mommy and daddy quietly.
His mommy and daddy are heavenly mother and heavenly father.
He helps scare away the bad ghost.
He is sleeping right now.
( sara started this conversation with mike and me as we were getting her ready for bed.)

Sara was a fairy princess today. She had fun flying with mommies help. As usual she was too busy to look at the camera long enough for me to take her picture.

Ashley woke up from her nape and decided that her bear should get out with her. She was caring her around until the camera came out. the last couple of pictures Sara took for us.

ashley is finaly walking with out the use of furniture. She is becoming an independent follower of sara and has desided to take her baby doll that we named notashley.

sara as always is full of energy. she has enjoyed ballet this summer and is requesting tap shoes.
